Expectant Mother

My dear friend and marathon-running partner is expecting another precious gift! This time, a boy!

Her name is Lyn- one of the most genuinely kind people on this planet...I love her to death.

We finally found the time to meet up for a quick get-together to catch up and capture a few shots of the belly! We had an hour to handle business. It was after work, the sun was going to set shortly, and she had an appointment right after our meeting. The location - her backyard, except for the "Bump" sign which was right around the corner from her house. It was perfect.

Her husband, Dan, is a huge soccer fan! I spotted the ball in the yard and tried to make it work:)

My First Couple!

This is Thanh and Choy. They're my friend's friend's friend's family. Really!:) I have to admit I was very nervous about shooting complete strangers but they were great to work with! They had been putting off getting engagement photos done but I'm so glad they found me just one month before their "Big Day".

I found another great place to shoot- Old Town! I think the last time I was there, it was with my 4th grade class:)

A True Inspiration

This is Rachel. She is a true inspiration! She asked me to photograph her to document her progress on this amazing journey of becoming healthier and happier! I'm so proud of her and her accomplishments...you have no idea!

We met at Torrey Pines, her favorite place in the whole world! (She hikes up that hill, you know...)

I feel so blessed to be able to do this for her! She was such goofball, which makes the best images!!!:) Love her--

My first time there, I walked away with strawberries, orange-grapefruits, cranberry-raisin bread, spicy black bean hummus, cupcakes and some fun photos to share!
