Love Is Such a Beautiful Thing

Love. Two fall in love and create a miracle which then brings even more love into the world. I was so fortunate to be able to photograph such a beautiful couple madly in love with each other, experiencing pregnancy for the first time.

This is Adrianna & Chris. Adrianna was 37 weeks in these photos. I enjoyed every second of my time with them... They were so open to being creative with me! We did the shoot at their home in La Mesa which ended up being the most comfortable place:) It was perfect!

Sunday Fun Day!

Glorietta Bay in Coronado was the location of our Sunday family fun day! Family, extended-family, family-like friends joined on an awesome clear day in San Diego! It involved, kite-flying, flower-picking, running in the open field, playing in the sand, hotdogs, jalapeno burgers, potato salad, chips, watermelon....you get the point?;)












I couldn't resist getting a shot of the most comfortable shoes ever! Toms!

Need a Few Baby Models?

I was asked by a co-worker of mine if I'd be interested in taking photographs of her 2 little beauties... (Boys can be called beautiful too by the way.)

We decided on a Park near their home in Rancho Bernardo - Webb Park. It was a quiet little park, great for dog-walking, strolling around and taking pictures!

Ellis and Ethan were my models for the day and I enjoyed every minute of the shoot. I was so into them, I forgot to change my ISO from the last time I used the camera when I was trying to get a shot of a bear at Mammoth in the dark! So for you technical photogs out there, I apologize.

I realized this as I was post-processing the images and I have to admit I was a bit disappointed in myself I almost kept the photos from sharing with you all BUT I realized the boys and their expressions are priceless and so here are a few photos to share.

Again, please excuse my settings. I definitely learned my lesson and will be checking that first thing before any shoot!

Winter Wonderland...

We made our 1st family trip up to Mammoth Lakes, CA to see SNOW! The drive wasn't as bad as I imagined with 2 kids under the age of 5. Although Angelina did ask the infamous question, "Are we there yet?"...about a hundred times.

We had a blast! 2 days of blue skies and 2 days of white...Not bad I guess.

We snowboarded while the girls were in ski school/daycare for a day... But I have to say, sledding had to be the most fun for all of us!!!

I wasn't able to take the camera out much due to the weather and plus I kinda really wanted to enjoy myself without having to worry about where to store my camera when I was out and about.

Thanks to the Hamptons for bringing their 'pocket point n shoot' and taking our family pictures as we goofed around in the snow.

Schat's Bakery - They really do have the best bread in town! I couldn't help but capture this moment on the way home. While Annabelle was asleep, Angelina decided to hold her hand!

I love family time... We decided to buy a $13 kite at Costco, bring a soccer ball and spend some QT at the park...some of my favorite times!
